In a move to strengthen its engagement with applied psychology, Chitkara School of Psychology and Counselling, Chitkara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a mental health practitioner and organisation.

The agreement was signed between Dr. Sheetal Sharma, Founder of Think. Feel. Heal, and Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Pant, Pro Vice Chancellor, Education and Psychology Programs at Chitkara University. The signing was facilitated by the Career Advancement Services team along with Dr. Vani, Dean Outreach, Psychology and Education Programs, Chitkara University.

Through this partnership, both sides will work together on research projects, co-publications, and consultancy services. The agreement also opens up internship opportunities for students, giving them practical exposure in the field of mental health.

The collaboration will include activities such as mental health camps, workshops, and seminars. These initiatives are planned to connect academic learning with real-world practice and contribute to ongoing efforts in the area of psychological well-being.

This agreement is part of the university’s broader effort to build meaningful academic collaborations that support student learning, research, and professional development in psychology.
