Chitkara University Signs MoU with Nemetschek Group India for AEC Digital Learning

Chitkara University, Punjab has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nemetschek Group in India to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) sector.

The partnership aims to provide students from Civil Engineering and Architecture with practical exposure to Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and related digital technologies used in the construction industry. It will help students understand the tools and processes that are increasingly used in professional practice.

Through this collaboration, students will gain opportunities for hands-on learning that connects academic study with real-world industry applications. The engagement is intended to support the development of skills needed to work with digital systems used in infrastructure planning and construction.

The MoU represents a shared effort between Chitkara University and Nemetschek Group to prepare graduates who are familiar with evolving technologies and workflows within the AEC sector.
