Chitkara University Signs MoU with Indian Air Force to Support Education of IAF Wards
In a proud and meaningful step towards serving the nation’s defence community, Chitkara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Air Force (IAF) to extend academic support to the wards of IAF personnel, including those currently serving, retired, or who have laid down their lives in service to the nation.
The MoU was formally signed between Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University, and Air Vice Marshal Harjit S Sidana, VSM, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Education), in a ceremony that symbolised mutual respect, commitment, and a shared vision of nation-building through education.
This collaboration reflects Chitkara University’s unwavering dedication to contributing meaningfully to the lives of defence families by providing access to quality, future-ready education across diverse disciplines. The University’s robust academic ecosystem, enriched by innovation, research, and global exposure, aims to empower the children of IAF personnel to pursue their aspirations with confidence and purpose.
