Chitkara University signs MoU with Founders First Network to support early-stage founders

Chitkara Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CCIE), Chitkara University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Founders First Network, led by Praveen Dorna, to support aspiring and early-stage founders in validating their ideas and progressing towards venture creation.

The collaboration is based on the principle that founders should establish whether a problem is worth solving before investing significant time and resources in building a solution. Through Startup Validation Bootcamps, Lean Startup programs, founder clinics, structured founder-development programs and experiential entrepreneurship initiatives, participants will learn to test assumptions, understand customers and gather evidence to inform their next steps.

Speaking about the collaboration, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “A strong understanding of the problem and the customer is an important starting point for any founder. Giving aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to test their assumptions and learn from evidence can help them make more informed decisions as they develop their ideas.”

The initiative will give aspiring and early-stage founders a structured setting to examine their ideas, learn from customer feedback and assess their assumptions before moving ahead with venture development.

The collaboration adds to CCIE’s entrepreneurship initiatives at Chitkara University, with a focus on providing founders with practical opportunities to develop and assess their ideas as they move towards venture creation.
