Chitkara University signs MoU with Cambridge International Foundation School

The Department of Education at Chitkara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cambridge International Foundation School (CIFS), Jalandhar to promote collaboration between higher education and school education. The partnership will provide student teachers with opportunities for internships, classroom observations, and school-based learning within an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum environment.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Sangeeta Pant, Pro Vice Chancellor, Psychology and Education Programs, Chitkara University, Punjab, and J.K. Kohli, Chairman and Advisory Counsel, representing Cambridge International Foundation School.
The partnership will include expert talks, workshops, seminars, faculty interaction sessions, educational events and other academic activities. It will also support the exchange of teaching practices, educational ideas, research, and professional experiences, helping connect academic learning with classroom practice.
The partnership is part of the Department of Education’s ongoing efforts to provide students with learning opportunities beyond the university campus through engagement with schools and educators.
