
Chitkara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Applus+, establishing a framework for collaboration between the university and industry. The partnership will provide students with opportunities for internships, industrial training, industry-led projects, expert interactions, technical workshops and skill development. It will also create avenues for faculty and industry experts to engage in knowledge exchange, research, consultancy and innovation.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Cavita Taragi, Pro Vice Chancellor, Career Advancement Services and Head of Placements & Industry Partnerships, Chitkara University, and Francesc Pascual, Managing Director, Applus+ IDIADA. The agreement is intended to connect academic learning with practical experience and give students greater exposure to industry practices and real-world challenges.
The collaboration will support student engagement with industry through training, projects, workshops and interactions with experts. For faculty, it provides scope to work with industry professionals in areas including research, consultancy, knowledge exchange and innovation.
