Chitkara University signs exclusive Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the British Council

Chitkara University has inked two exclusive Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the British Council for EnglishScore on November 26th, 2022, and also discussed its detailed methodology. The MoUs were signed by Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, on behalf of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab. The two MoUs will now facilitate Chitkara University students to develop English Language competencies to further their professional careers.

Having mentioned that, EnglishScore is an accurate and unbiased assessment of English language skills that uses adaptive technology to determine an individual’s level of English. The automated marking system ensures that the results are instantly available, allowing one to quickly and accurately understand the level and certify the score.

EnglishScore scale correlates to the international standard Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It’s a point-based system that helps students to better understand their level within a CEFR band and the score gives a better understanding of where one stands within each band.
