Chitkara University Secures Strong Position in SCImago Institutions Rankings 2026

Chitkara University has strengthened its global academic presence by being included in the SCImago Institutions Rankings 2026. This recognition reflects the university’s consistent performance in research, innovation, and academic output.

In the overall rankings, Chitkara University is placed 37th in India and 3409th globally. This shows its steady progress in research-based education and academic excellence.

The university has also performed strongly in subject-wise rankings across several disciplines. It is ranked 4th in India in Physics and Astronomy and 6th in Energy. In addition, it holds 9th position in Computer Science and Education, 13th in Mathematics, 15th in Business, Management and Accounting, and 23rd in both Economics, Econometrics and Finance and Architecture.
