Chitkara University represented at the Women’s Vice Chancellors and Leaders Conclave
Chitkara University is proud to announce that Dr. Archana Mantri, the esteemed Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University, Punjab, was recently invited to participate in the prestigious “Women’s Vice Chancellors and Leaders Conclave.”
This significant gathering was organized as part of the W20 working group, which brought together 53 exceptional women leaders from diverse backgrounds and fields across the country. Hosted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), the conclave aimed to address crucial issues concerning women and their empowerment.
The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Dr. Sandhya Purecha, President of Sangeet Natak Academy and Chair of W20, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Additionally, Prof. Shalini Bharat, Vice Chancellor of TISS, was honored as the Guest of Honour for the conclave.
Dr. Archana Mantri actively participated in the focused group discussion on “Women and Skill Development” during the conclave. These discussions aimed to generate meaningful recommendations and insights that can drive positive change. The outcomes of the working group and the conclave will be submitted to the W20 and subsequently presented to the G20.
