Chitkara University Records Strong Performance in EducationWorld India Rankings

Chitkara University has secured prominent positions in the EducationWorld India Rankings 2026, reflecting its continued presence amongst leading higher education institutions across management, engineering, and multidisciplinary education.

In the category of the Best Private B-Schools, the University was ranked 22nd in India and secured the first position in Punjab. Chitkara University was also ranked second in Punjab amongst Best Private Engineering Colleges. In the category of Private Multidisciplinary Universities, the University secured the sixth rank in India and the top position in Punjab. Additionally, the University was recognised in the Education World Ranking 2026 for Private Multidisciplinary Universities, securing the 16th rank in India and the 2nd position in Himachal Pradesh.

Speaking on the recognition, Dr. Madhu Chitkara said, “These rankings reflect the consistent academic efforts of our faculty, students, researchers, alumni, and industry partners. It is encouraging to see the University’s work across different disciplines being recognised at both the national and regional level.”
