Chitkara University Recognised as Leading University of 2023 at BW Education Awards

Chitkara University received the distinguished title of “Leading University of the Year 2023” at the prestigious BW Education Super 30 Education Brands Summit and Awards held in New Delhi. This accolade is a recognition of the university’s unwavering commitment to excellence in education.

This recognition highlights Chitkara University’s unwavering commitment to fostering excellence and innovation in education on a national scale. The institution’s relentless pursuit of educational excellence has propelled it to the forefront of the higher education landscape in India. Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, and Dr. K K Mishra, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Quality Assurance), received the award on behalf of the university.

During the summit, Dr. Madhu Chitkara actively contributed to the intellectual discourse through a panel discussion centered around the theme “Expanding Boundaries of Higher Education Skill and Employability Session”. Her insights shed light on the proactive measures taken by the university to nurture students’ soft skills, a crucial aspect of holistic education.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara emphasised the university’s multifaceted initiatives dedicated to developing soft skills among students. These include the establishment of the Chitkara Happiness Center, active engagement in community development within adopted villages, and the implementation of National Service Scheme (NSS) programs, all designed to foster vital social skills among students. The university offers a dynamic platform for skill enhancement through prominent events such as TEDx, Rangrez (theatre fest), and Toastmasters. These events play a pivotal role in augmenting students’ soft skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of the modern world.

The university’s commitment to nurturing socio-entrepreneurial abilities is reflected through events like Dataweek, NOVATE, Chitkara Mandi, the Design Festival, and the Entrepreneurship Summit. These events serve as platforms for students to develop practical skills, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
