It is beyond doubt that rankings have become a noteworthy part of the tertiary education landscape because of the importance education has in today’s age. With great pleasure, we share that Chitkara University has been ranked in several categories in ‘EW India Higher Education Rankings 2018-19’ by ‘Education World Magazine, May 2018.

• We have been ranked 44th in “India’s Top 100 Private Universities” and second Rank in Punjab “Private Universities: State Rankings”
• Bagged 55th Rank in “India’s Best Private Engineering Institutes” and second Rank in Punjab “Private Universities: State Rankings”
• Chitkara University is ranked 88th in “India’s Top 100 B-Schools” & No.1 Rank in Punjab “B-Schools: State Rankings”

In the education landscape, rankings have risen in significance and proliferated in inconceivable ways. It is apparent that rankings do have an assessment as an indication and as the basis for evaluation. With significant players like Education World, the ranking system has evolved considerably giving a fair view of how a university value adds to a student’s life. The ranking criteria on which Chitkara University was ranked were based on placement, competence of faculty, research and innovation, curriculum and pedagogy, industry interface, value for money, infrastructure and facilities, faculty welfare and development, leadership governance and quality, life skills soft skills, student intake and selection process and other aspects.
