Chitkara School of Hospitality and Architecture achieve Top honours in GHRDC Rankings 2021

Chitkara School of Hospitality has been ranked 7th in Top Hotel Management Institutes of Super Excellence and First in Punjab in ‘Top Private Hotel Management Institutes in State by Global Human Resource Development Centre (GHRDC), New Delhi. Chitkara School Planning and Architecture has been ranked 7th in ‘Top Architecture Colleges in India’ and 1st in ‘Top Architecture Colleges of Excellence’ by the Global Human Resource Development Centre (GHRDC).

GHRDC is a research-based organisation that has been the pioneer in starting the concept and practice of rating and ranking B‑Schools from the very inception of its organisation and has since (1998) been involved in rating and ranking of B‑Schools in India. This was followed by initiating the Survey and Ranking of Hotel Management Institutes in the year 2007 and the Engineering College Survey since 2009. Over the last eight years, more than 250 business schools, 100 hotel management institutes, and over 100 engineering colleges have been visited, with over 5000 faculty members, 10,000 students, and over 300 directors of various institutes meeting and interacting with them. The richness and range of interactions and experiences is one‑of‑a‑kind, as well as professionally rewarding in strengthening the survey methodology. Some of the categories on Hotel Management Survey 2021 include Supreme, Excellence, Super Excellence, Emerging Excellence and Promising. The Hotel Management Institutions ranking was based on various parameters like Infrastructure (Physical and Academic), Faculty, Publication, Research, Consultancy, CDP and other programs, admission, curriculum and delivery system, placements, USPs and social responsibility and networking and industry interface. The total score was calculated out of 1450. Chitkara School of Hospitality scored 1020 out of 1450 points.
