We take pride in sharing that Chitkara University has been listed among the “top 5 general universities (private) with the most patent filed in the past three years” and it has also been ranked 17th position among the “top 52 General Universities (private) in India” by the annual India Today Best University survey 2020 which is one of the most widely published magazines in India.

India Today listed Chitkara University in a general stream for playing an important role in the spread of higher education in the survey of India’s Best Universities. With a strong methodology, the survey ranks the country’s universities in four streams – general, medical, technical and law. The survey has been conducted from around 950 universities and about 155 institutions of national importance for higher education. The India Today Group Rankings aims to make it easier for aspirants seeking to make important career decisions.

The methodology of MDRA, India Today’s knowledge partner, has set many milestones. During the ranking, MDRA carefully looked at 120-plus attributes to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparison of universities.

The survey of India’s best universities clubbed into five broad parameters -“reputation and governance, academic and research excellence, infrastructure and living experience, personality and leadership development and career progression and placement”.

We are very happy that Chitkara University is being judged on its core missions – academic, research, infrastructure, living experience, leadership and placement and we are proud that Chitkara University is recognized globally for its contribution to quality education.
