Chitkara University ranked 3rd in the India Today-MDRA Best Universities Survey 2021
Chitkara University, Punjab has once again achieved high rankings in the MDRA Best Universities Survey 2021 by India Today. Chitkara University has ranked 3rd in the “Top 5 Universities with Highest Number of Patents Filed in Past 3 Years in India” category and 15th in “India’s General Private Universities 2021”.
The India Today-MDRA Best Universities Survey 2021 maps the country’s higher education landscape to bring you institutes that have sparked a revolution in pedagogy and given students a unique learning experience. MDRA (Marketing and Development Research Associates) is a leading marketing research and consultancy organisation in India, specialising in both quantitative and qualitative research. They offer strategic business planning services based on our clients’ research findings and historical data analysis.
MDRA, an INDIA TODAY knowledge partner, has established many milestones in its process. MDRA thoroughly attuned 120-plus attributes during objective ranking to present the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons of universities. These parameters were grouped into the following categories: reputation and governance, academic and research excellence, infrastructure and living experience, personality and leadership development, and career progression and placement. A perception survey was conducted among 300 well-informed respondents from 30 cities.
While assessing objective ratings, it was made sure that no aggregate data was used and that the data was normalised. For the total combined score, the total scores from the objective and perception surveys were summed in a 50:50 ratio.
In June 2021, Chitkara School of Hospitality was ranked 4th in ‘Top 10 Private Emerging Hotel Management Colleges in India’ and 23rd in ‘Hotel Management Colleges in India’. Chitkara University Institute of Engineering and Technology (CUIET) was ranked 46th in ‘Top BCA Colleges in India’ and 47th in ‘Top Private Engineering Colleges in India’. Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture (CSAP) ranked 30th in ‘Top Architecture Colleges in India’. Chitkara School of Mass Communication (CSMC) was 35th in ‘Top Mass Communication Colleges in India’ and Chitkara Business School (CBS) was ranked 56th in ‘Top BBA Colleges in India’ in the India Today ‘Best Colleges Survey 2021’.
