Chitkara University promotes cervical cancer prevention through HPV vaccination

National Service Scheme (NSS), Chitkara University, in collaboration with the Amrit Cancer Foundation, Comed Chemicals, conducted the second dose of its free human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination drive to support cervical cancer prevention.

The drive aimed to ensure timely completion of the recommended vaccination schedule while raising awareness about HPV vaccination and preventive healthcare. Students participated in the initiative, which highlighted the importance of timely vaccination and informed health choices in reducing the risk of cervical cancer.

The initiative brought together students, healthcare partners and the University community to promote awareness of women’s health and the importance of preventive care.

The drive formed part of Chitkara University’s efforts to promote health awareness among students, with a focus on cervical cancer prevention.
