Chitkara University Signs Landmark Risk Management Pact with IRM India Affiliate
Chitkara University has marked a significant milestone in its academic journey by formalising an affiliation with the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) India Affiliate. This collaboration has been recognised with the prestigious Certificate of International Affiliation, reinforcing the university’s commitment to fostering a robust, risk-aware academic ecosystem and equipping its students with globally recognised competencies in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
The official agreement was signed by Hersh Shah, CEO of IRM India Affiliate, and Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara University, in a ceremony that witnessed the presence of esteemed leaders from both institutions. Key attendees included Kosha Parekh, Director of Academic Programmes at IRM India Affiliate; Jyoti Ruparel, IRM Level 5 Fellow and Strategic Advisory Board Member; and Ian Springett, Chief Operating Officer of IRM Global. From Chitkara University, Dr. Sandhir Sharma, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Kuldeep Rojhe, Dean of Academics at the Centre for Distance and Online Education; and Dr. Gautam Bansal, Dean of IPM at Chitkara Business School, also joined the occasion.
