Chitkara University Organises Student Session on Happiness, Wellbeing and Skillverse

Chitkara Happiness Centre, in collaboration with the Department of Economics, organised an interactive session centred on the theme of happiness, wellbeing and student development. The programme combined reflection, discussion and activities designed to help participants explore the meaning of happiness while building stronger connections with peers.
The session opened with a discussion on the question, “Can happiness be taught?”, prompting students to reflect on personal experiences and perspectives. This was followed by meditation exercises, interactive conversations and group activities that encouraged mindfulness and self-expression. Games and discussions created a participatory environment, while a lively dance and laughter session became the highlight of the day, symbolising joy in its simplest form.
The event also marked the launch of Skillverse 7.0, an initiative aimed at encouraging students to discover and nurture new skills. Designed to support holistic growth, Skillverse 7.0 provides opportunities to pursue personal interests alongside academic learning.
The programme reflected Chitkara University’s commitment to student wellbeing and holistic education. By blending mindfulness with interactive engagement, the session left participants with renewed energy, meaningful connections and a deeper understanding of happiness as a shared experience.
