Chitkara University Organises NSS Special Camp for Student Development

The National Service Scheme (NSS), Chitkara University, organised a seven-day residential special camp aimed at supporting the overall development of student volunteers through a mix of physical engagement, community outreach, cultural participation, and environmental awareness.
The camp followed a structured routine with yoga sessions, sports, creative activities, and awareness discussions, promoting discipline, teamwork, and well-being. Volunteers also gained practical exposure through visits to a farm, an NGO, and a paper recycling facility, along with participation in a tree plantation drive, self-defence workshop, cultural engagements, and a heritage visit.
The NSS Special Camp reflects the university’s continued focus on engaging students in structured programs that combine academic learning with social awareness and practical experience.
