The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Chitkara University organised a cycling rally to mark World Bicycle Day 2026, encouraging bicycle use and raising awareness about environmental protection. The event brought together faculty members, staff and NCC cadets.
The rally highlighted the importance of reducing pollution, saving natural resources, and adopting eco-friendly habits in daily life. Through the event, participants promoted cycling as a simple and sustainable mode of transport.
The initiative highlighted the importance of responsible environmental practices and forms part of Chitkara University’s ongoing efforts to create awareness about sustainable living and community well-being.
