Chitkara University hosts third edition of pickleball tournament

The Chitkara University Sports Board organised the third edition of the Chitkara Pickleball Tournament, bringing together students and staff to compete in Staff Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Men’s Doubles.

Following the first and second editions, the tournament saw participation from members of the university community across all three events. Abhimanyu Gulati and Nasim Sahin secured first place in Staff Men’s Doubles, followed by Barbreek and Harinder Pal Singh in second, and Manav Bansal and Gurjinder Singh in third.

In Women’s Doubles, Deepanjali Wason and Anchal secured first place. Piyanshi and Arashpreet finished second, while Harshita Sharma and Vanshika placed third. In Men’s Doubles, Anirudh and Rahul emerged as winners, followed by Vansh and Anmol in second, and Harshdeep and Shekhar in third.

The event was organised as part of the activities of the Chitkara University Sports Board, providing students and staff with an opportunity to participate in organised sporting competition.
