Chitkara University Hosts Protothon AI Grand Finale Showcasing Future Innovation

The Centre for Entrepreneurship Education & Development at Chitkara University hosted the grand finale of Protothon AI, a flagship event that brought together young innovators to celebrate the transformative potential of artificial intelligence. The competition, spanning four intensive weeks of brainstorming, mentoring and prototyping, became a platform for students to present groundbreaking AI-driven solutions that reflected ingenuity, problem-solving capabilities and a deep understanding of emerging technologies.
The finale was marked by an atmosphere of enthusiasm and creativity as participants unveiled projects that addressed real-world challenges across industries. From disruptive applications in healthcare and finance to solutions for sustainability and smart living, the event underscored the readiness of the next generation to shape the evolving landscape of technology.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University, presided over the event and felicitated the winners, while also sharing her vision for how innovation and entrepreneurship must go hand in hand to drive meaningful change. Her address served as an inspiration for students to keep pushing the boundaries of possibility.
The finale featured an esteemed jury comprising Dr. Atul Dutta, Dean, Interior Design, Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture; Dr. Rupali Gill, Dean, Computer Science and Engineering; Dr. Rishu Chhabra; Dr. Amit Vashishth, Dean, Chitkara School of Hospitality; and Dr. Rashmi Aggarwal, Dean, Commerce and FinTech, Chitkara Business School. They engaged with the participants, offering constructive feedback and encouragement to refine and scale their ideas. The event was also graced by Dr. Adarsh Agarwal, Vice President, Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation; Gourav Mahajan, Director, Chitkara Enterprise Lab; and Piyush Garg, Vice President, Centre for Entrepreneurship Education & Development, whose presence further emphasized the university’s strong commitment to fostering entrepreneurial talent.
Adding to the momentum, Sudhanshu Goyal, Founder of Health Gennie, delivered an insightful session that highlighted the role of disruptive thinking in building sustainable ventures. His interaction with the students brought valuable industry perspectives that resonated with the spirit of the competition.
