Chitkara University Hosts Insta Day Celebrating the Rise of Digital Entrepreneurs
Chitkara University recently brought together creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit at its vibrant campus through INSTA DAY, an immersive event designed to explore the ever-evolving landscape of digital entrepreneurship. With a sharp focus on the growing influence of content creators and “Instapreneurs”, the event provided a comprehensive platform for students to engage with leaders redefining the digital economy through creativity and influence.
Structured around three thoughtfully curated sessions — “Exploring the New Age of Instapreneurs”, “The Instapreneur Revolution”, and “Real, Raw, Revenue” — the day unfolded as a rich exploration of digital branding, storytelling, and sustainable content monetisation. Each session was anchored in the idea that success in the digital world is no longer just about virality but is rooted in authenticity, relatability, and responsible storytelling.
The university welcomed an illustrious lineup of speakers who have carved distinctive niches across digital platforms. Among them were Arun Singh, widely recognised as The Jhumroo for his engaging and quirky content; Dr. Falguni Vasavda-Oza, renowned professor at MICA and a passionate advocate for body positivity and personal branding; and Prabhleen Juneja, a successful makeup artist and Chitkara alumna who has built a thriving career through her strong online presence. They were joined by content creators and digital entrepreneurs Saqib Saifi, Kanika Sharma, and Janhavi Panwar, who each brought unique perspectives on building meaningful connections with audiences in the digital age.
The sessions were seamlessly moderated by Chitkara University’s student leaders, who ensured engaging discussions that reflected the interests and aspirations of the student body. Together, the speakers and moderators underscored the importance of maintaining cultural sensitivity, promoting authenticity, and leveraging digital platforms to create positive impact and viable careers. Students were particularly inspired by the discussions around content-led monetisation and brand storytelling, gaining a real-world understanding of how digital influence can be transformed into entrepreneurial success.
INSTA DAY served as more than just a celebration of content creation; it was a platform for reflection, learning, and aspiration. It highlighted Chitkara University’s commitment to equipping students with not only academic excellence but also with the industry exposure and mindset required to thrive in a rapidly digitising world. Events like these reaffirm the institution’s vision to stay ahead of trends and foster a culture where innovation meets opportunity.
