Chitkara University Hosts Deakin Faculty for Global Research Insights Session

Centre for Global Education, Chitkara University hosted a delegation from Deakin University, Australia for a session on ‘Research Insights: A Global Perspective with Deakin Faculty.’ The session focused on international research opportunities and academic pathways for students interested in studying or conducting research abroad.

The session was led by Dr. Shantanu Pal and Dr. Maksym Slavnenko from the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Built Environment at Deakin University. They discussed competitive internships, PhD pathways, and the steps required to build a strong academic profile aligned with international standards. Students were also introduced to Deakin’s research system, publication requirements, and collaborative opportunities, while gaining clarity on expectations, preparation strategies, and research planning for higher studies overseas.

The session is part of the ongoing academic collaboration between Chitkara University and Deakin University.
