Chitkara University Hosts Arena of Champions Featuring Multiple Sports Competitions

The Department of Nursing, Chitkara School of Health Sciences, in collaboration with the University Sports Board, Chitkara University, organised Arena of Champions on 21 March 2026, bringing together students and faculty for a day of competitive sports activities on campus. The event featured a range of indoor and outdoor games designed to encourage participation, teamwork and healthy competition within the university community.

Participants competed across several disciplines, including darts, arm wrestling, table soccer, pickleball, volleyball, badminton and chess. Events were organised in men’s, women’s and faculty categories.

In the men’s category, Karan secured first place in darts, followed by Basant and Sanjeet. Shivam won the arm wrestling competition with Sameer finishing second. Priyansh claimed the top position in table soccer ahead of Arjun. In pickleball, Itish finished first, with Shubham and Umar placing second and third respectively. Team Balaji emerged as the winner of the volleyball event.

Among the women participants, Rabjot finished first in darts, followed by Parul and Kiranpreet. Maninder secured first place in arm wrestling. In table soccer, Priya claimed the top position while Prabhjot finished second. Maninder also won the pickleball event, with Priya placing second.

The event formed part of the university’s ongoing efforts to integrate sports and recreational activities within campus life, encouraging participation across disciplines and strengthening community engagement among students and faculty.
