Chitkara University hosts annual cyber security leadership summit 2026

Chitkara University hosted the Chitkara Annual Cyber Security Leadership Summit 2026, a two-day event that brought together experts from cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, risk management, and human resources to interact with students and aspiring technology professionals. The summit focused on industry-academia engagement through panel discussions, project presentations, and mentorship sessions on emerging technologies and cybersecurity challenges.
The event aimed to give students practical exposure to current industry trends and expectations. Participants had the opportunity to present their projects, interact with professionals, and receive feedback on their work and ideas related to cybersecurity and AI.
Industry leaders who attended the summit included Ramesh R K, Prabhu Venkatesa, Dipanwita Choudhury, Praveen Vasudevan, Sandeep Bansal, Amrish Kumar Jain, Abhinav Punj, Sukrit Ghosh, Satyanandan Atyam, Roshini MJ, Sahil Acharekar, Dr. Jagannath Sahoo, Dr. Yudhishtira Sapru, and Vijayakumar Chandrasekaran.
The summit featured discussions on topics such as “Securing the AI-Driven Future: Cloud Security, EDR/XDR, Agentic AI and Beyond,” moderated by Dr. P. K. Khosla, and “AI, Cybersecurity and the Future Workforce: What Tomorrow’s CISOs Expect from Today’s Students,” moderated by Dr. Sumeer Walia. The event also included an Industry Project Showcase and Expert Review session, where students demonstrated their solutions and received feedback from experts.
The Cyber Security Leadership Summit is part of Chitkara University’s ongoing efforts to connect academic learning with industry engagement in areas related to technology and digital innovation.
