Chitkara University hosts AACSB International Seminar on Academic Improvement

Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University, hosted the two-day AACSB Seminar on Academic Improvement, titled “Assurance of Learning II: Data, Decision Making and Continuous Improvement”, bringing together academic leaders and faculty to discuss approaches to assessing and improving learning outcomes.

Featuring Dr. Geoff Perry, EVP & Chief Membership Officer, Asia Pacific and Americas, AACSB International and Prathap Das, Regional Head, South Asia, AACSB International, the sessions covered global perspectives on Assurance of Learning, assessment practices, evidence-based decision‑making and ways to close the loop for continued improvement.

The discussions focused on how institutions can measure learning effectively, interpret assessment findings and use them to guide academic action. Deans and faculty members also discussed how quality assurance can become part of regular academic practice rather than being limited to compliance requirements.
