Chitkara University fetched 7th rank across India in India Hacks 2017

India Hacks 2017, organized by Hacker Earth is an annual hacking and innovation challenge. The challenge was designed to hit innovative ideas in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Internet of Things, Fintech. Every Track registered 8000+ entries and after careful and rigorous selection criteria 4500 teams were shortlisted and analyzed. Out of these 4500 teams, 45 teams were selected for Zonal rounds.

The team of the department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Chitkara University Punjab constituting of Mr. Amit Pandey and Mr. Paramvir Singh with the team name “EXPLORIUM” successfully cleared zonal round and was selected for the Final round between 15 teams across India. India Hacks Grand Finale was held at Vivant by Taj at Bangalore on 8-9th September 2017. Top 15 teams across India participated in finals and gave the demonstration about their ideas and product. “TEAM EXPLORIUM” got the seventh position in IOT track. The event witness presence of 25 delegates from different Industries namely IBM, Fintech, S & P, Credit Suisse, Paysafe, insight, Honeywell, RBS etc and their partners from India as well as abroad.

More than 1000 visitors had a look on different ideas and product. All the participants were also given an opportunity to attend one day conference organized by Hacker Earth.
