Chitkara University and Paramotor establish Centre for Future Technologies and Innovation

Chitkara University has signed an MoU with Paramotor Digital Technology Limited to establish the Sonia Asher Centre of Excellence in Future Technologies and Innovation. The Centre will give students practical exposure to fintech, digital payments, artificial intelligence, data science and technology-enabled financial services, while helping connect classroom learning with industry practices and real-world applications.

The initiative will bring together students and faculty from engineering, business, design, mass communication and law. Paramotor will contribute through mentorships, workshops, hackathons, practitioner interactions and industry projects. The Centre will also support faculty development, student projects, innovation programs and industry interaction.

The Centre will bring academia and industry closer and give students practical knowledge and exposure to opportunities in the evolving fintech and technology sector. Internship and employment opportunities, where applicable, will be subject to defined selection and performance criteria.
