CHITKARA UNIVERSITY CONFERS HONORARY DOCTORATE ON PRESIDENT & CEO OF PANASONIC INDIA AND SOUTH ASIA, MR. MANISH SHARMA

In a glittering ceremony, held on July 21, 2018, Chitkara University conferred the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Literature on the President and CEO Panasonic India and South Asia, Vice President Appliances Company, Mr. Manish Sharma, for exemplary contribution to business, education and humanity.

Manish Sharma, in his current profile is overseeing the growth and development of the brand Panasonic in the region. He has been responsible for driving profitable growth along with strategy planning and business development for the entire product portfolio of Panasonic’s consumer, enterprise, mobility and industry divisions. His belief is that education and innovation are two important pillars in building the national edifice and his commitment to dedicate his life towards this cause has earned him eminence as a charismatic and dynamic personality.

Mr. Manish Sharma humbly accepted the recognition from Hon’ble Dr. Ashok K Chitkara, Chancellor, Chitkara University; and Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara fraternity. Addressing the students of Chitkara University, Mr Manish Sharma shared that in 2018 Panasonic celebrates 100 years of the establishment. “Who knew that decades later, this Japanese giant who ushered the light in the electronic revolution would be the reflection of an economically advanced and socially enhanced India, he said. Mr. Manish Sharma also spoke about brand Panasonic’s consumer, enterprise, mobility & industry divisions.
