Chitkara University and Trayambak sign MoU on intellectual property education

Chitkara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Trayambak, an intellectual property (IP) firm specialising in patents, trademarks, copyrights, designs, and innovation management. The collaboration aims to provide students with greater exposure to intellectual property and technology law through industry engagement and practical learning opportunities.
Founded by Isha Sharma, a registered Patent Agent, Trayambak provides intellectual property services across sectors such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, electronics, software, telecommunications, and Artificial Intelligence.
Under the MoU, students will have access to internships, expert sessions, workshops, research initiatives, and other learning opportunities. These activities will help them build a stronger understanding of intellectual property and its application across different industries.
The collaboration has been facilitated through Career Advancement Services (CAS), which works to create industry partnerships that support students’ academic and professional growth. Through interactions with practitioners and experts, students will gain valuable insights into the changing landscape of intellectual property and technology law.
This partnership adds to Chitkara University’s efforts to connect academic learning with industry experience, enabling students to develop the knowledge and skills required for careers in the legal profession.
