Chitkara University and Millipixels sign MoU to strengthen industry engagement

Chitkara University formalised its collaboration with Millipixels through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), providing students with opportunities to engage with the technology industry and gain insights into workplace expectations and career pathways.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Cavita Taragi, Pro Vice Chancellor, Career Advancements Services and Head of Placements, Chitkara University and Shweta Sharma, Senior Vice President – HR, Millipixels.

As part of the collaboration, Computer Science and Engineering students participated in a Pre-Placement Talk led by Rameshwar T. The session focused on the importance of curiosity, adaptability and continuous learning in a technology landscape that continues to evolve. Students also interacted with the Millipixels team on career opportunities, industry expectations and the transition from campus to the workplace.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “Industry engagement gives students an opportunity to understand workplace expectations alongside their academic learning. Interactions with industry professionals can help students gain a clearer understanding of the skills and adaptability required in the workplace.”

The engagement also included a placement drive, where students learned about relevant roles and interacted with representatives from Millipixels.

The collaboration adds to Chitkara University’s ongoing engagement with industry, connecting academic learning with students’ exposure to workplace practices and expectations.
