Chitkara University and Leeford Health Care collaborate on student training and research

Chitkara College of Pharmacy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Leeford Health Care Ltd. to expand academic and industry engagement. The collaboration will cover student internships, industrial training, placement opportunities, skill development, joint research and innovation and knowledge exchange.

The partnership will give students greater exposure to pharmaceutical industry practices while helping them develop skills relevant to the sector. Through internships and industrial training, students will gain practical experience alongside their academic learning. The MoU will also support collaborative research and knowledge sharing between the two organisations, contributing to the development of industry-ready Pharmacy graduates and relevant academic outcomes.

Speaking about the collaboration, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “Industry exposure is an important part of pharmacy education. This collaboration will give our students opportunities to learn from industry practices, gain practical experience and develop skills that are relevant to their professional journey.”
