Chitkara University and Delhivery launch Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Supply Chain

Chitkara University has entered into a long-term partnership with Delhivery through the Delhivery School of Logistics (DSL) to advance academic and industry engagement in logistics and supply chain management. A key development under the partnership was the unveiling of the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Supply Chain by Pankaj Kalass, SVP, Delhivery and Navneet Singh Baweja, VP, Delhivery, in the presence of Dr. Sandhir Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University.

The Centre of Excellence will bring together academic learning and industry expertise, with a focus on sustainable practices and experiential learning in logistics and supply chain management.

Commenting on the collaboration, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “Industry engagement plays an important role in connecting academic learning with the changing needs of the professional world. This collaboration with Delhivery brings industry knowledge and practical perspectives into the learning environment, particularly in an area as dynamic as logistics and supply chain management.”

Furthering the engagement, Navneet Singh Baweja interacted with students and shared insights into leadership, technology, innovation and emerging career opportunities in logistics. The interaction gave students an opportunity to gain perspectives from the industry on the evolving nature of the sector.

The partnership adds to Chitkara University’s academic engagement with the logistics and supply chain sector, with the Centre of Excellence forming a key part of its collaboration with Delhivery.
