Chitkara students become a part of a talk on Women’s Day at PTC News Channel in Mohali

International Women’s Day is an occasion to salute the spirit of womanhood and more every year but it is unfortunate that the spirit comes alive only on this day as women still reel under various atrocities that happen every day. To discuss this and more about women, students of Chitkara College of Education for Women, participated in a talk on International Women’s Day conducted by the PTC News Channel in Mohali.

Our students expressed their views freely about the various problems women face and despite this, they are achievers in their own way. Over 20 girl students from CCEW, Chitkara University, Punjab, became a part of the talk. The girls not only spoke about the condition of women today, they also highlighted various steps that can help in uplifting the stance of women in society. The talk proved to be a learning experience for Chitkara students.
