Chitkara School of Health Sciences organises International Symposium
The 9th ADT International Symposium on the theme “Trends in Diagnosis and Practices in Allied Healthcare Sector” organised by Chitkara School of Health Sciences, Chitkara University, Punjab was conducted from 7th January to 8th January 2021.
More than 200 participants attended the Symposium. The panel comprised of eminent people from the field of Allied Healthcare sector who have been working on improvising and optimising new trends in diagnosis.
The 1st-day sessions mainly focused on Artificial intelligence, the new trends in the healthcare sector. The sessions on the second day mainly focused on NCD (Non-communicable diseases) which have been growing alarmingly.
The following are the winners for the events which were conducted as a part of the activity session: Quiz competition;1st prize- Sakshi Bansal (B.Sc AHS MLT), 2nd prize- Kirandeep Kaur (B.Sc AHS MRIT) and 3rd prize- Ajay Puri (B.Sc AHS ).
In Poster presentation; 1st prize- Artificial Intelligence and Covid-19 impact on X-ray modality: Ajay Kumar, Mayawati Guleria, Jyoti Garg, Kanishq Awasthi, Mohak Sharma (B.Sc. MRIT), 1st prize for Diagnostic tests for urinalysis – Chandni (B.Sc. MLT), 2nd prize in Medical Imaging Technology: Mehak Atal, Kirti, Ritika Thakur, Amisha Verma, Ritika Patiyal (B.Sc.MRIT) and 3rd prize- Sterilization and Disinfectant: Pallavi, Nandini, Niukali, Akshita, Ashima (B.Sc. MRIT).
In Case study presentation; 1st prize- Md Jasim, Preksha Sood (B.Sc MRIT ) and 1st prize- Shilpa, Shivani, Sakshi (B.Sc MLT). And lastly in Oral Presentation; Dr.Charu Pundhir- Assistant Professor, Ms.Chanchal Kaushik- Assistant Professor and Dr. Kanishka Das- Assistant Professor.
