Chitkara NCC Cadets undergo Annual Training Camp at Ropar

Eight NCC cadets of Chitkara University, Punjab, attended Annual Training camp for nine days at NCC Training Academy in Ropar.They participated in physical training, rifle shooting, map reading, obstacle training, tent pitching, leadership and cultural activities. The training developed a mindset for students towards making a career in defence forces and becoming a good citizens of India.

Cdt Amit Thakur (CSH Dept) received medal for “Best Quarter Guard Duty” and Girl cadets Pooja Goyal, Nidhi Goyal and Moulli Khanna (CSE) have been selected to attend Pre-Thal Sena Camp to be held at Chandigarh in August-2014.

For the coming session, an allotment of 17 additional Cadets (12 Boys and 05 Girls) will be made to NCC fraternity of Chitkara University, Punjab.
