Chitkara League T-20 Seventh Edition Concludes

The 7th edition of the Chitkara League T-20 Cricket Tournament concluded with Punjab 11 securing a 64-run victory over BPL Tigers in the Grand Final at Chitkara University. The final brought this year’s inter-university cricket competition to a close, featuring student teams competing in a structured and competitive sporting environment.
Punjab 11 delivered a commanding performance in the title match, setting the tone early and maintaining control through both innings. BPL Tigers mounted a determined challenge but were unable to reduce the margin as the match progressed.
Individual performances were recognised at the conclusion of the tournament. Lovely was named Man of the Match for the final, while Gurjinder Singh received the awards for Best Batsman and Man of the Series. Kawal was named Best Bowler of the tournament, reflecting consistent performance across matches.
Now in its seventh edition, the Chitkara League T-20 Cricket Tournament remains part of the university’s broader approach to student development, complementing academic programs with regular opportunities for competitive sports and organised extracurricular participation.
