The collaboration will facilitate internships, mentorship opportunities, knowledge-sharing initiatives and professional interactions, giving students greater exposure to the practical aspects of the legal profession.
Law Senate works across areas including corporate dispute resolution, international and domestic arbitration, infrastructure and construction arbitration and litigation before the Supreme Court of India. The association will give students an opportunity to gain insights into these areas and develop a broader understanding of the legal profession.
Commenting on the collaboration, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “Legal education gains depth when students can connect academic learning with the realities of professional practice. Engagement with practitioners can help students understand how legal knowledge is applied across different areas of the profession.”
The MoU brings together academic learning and professional expertise through internships, mentorship, knowledge-sharing and interactions with practitioners. It provides a structured avenue for students to gain a closer understanding of the work involved across different areas of law.
