Chitkara Happiness Centre Spreads Joy with “DOSE of Happiness” Session at Ambala Schools
Chitkara Happiness Centre took its mission of spreading joy beyond the university campus with a vibrant and impactful “DOSE of Happiness” session conducted at P.K.R. Jain Senior Secondary School, Vatika School, Nasirpur, Ambala. Designed specifically for Class 9 students, the session was led by Manav Bansal and the Chitkara Happiness Team, who created an engaging and energetic experience focused on the science of happiness.
The session began with a fun and interactive icebreaker that introduced students to the concept of DOSE—an acronym for the four key happiness hormones: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, and Endorphins. Through real-life stories and examples, the students were encouraged to shift their perspectives, embrace positivity, and appreciate the small joys in life. A gratitude activity gave them the opportunity to reflect on things they were thankful for, deepening their understanding of emotional well-being.
To elevate the energy in the room, the session featured lively dance and karaoke segments that had students moving, laughing, and connecting with one another in pure joy. The atmosphere was filled with infectious enthusiasm, and the positive impact on the students was both immediate and lasting.
This initiative by Chitkara Happiness Centre reflects its unwavering commitment to community outreach and emotional wellness. The “DOSE of Happiness” session left a powerful impression on the young participants, equipping them with tools to cultivate lasting happiness and emotional resilience.
