Chitkara Happiness Centre Hosts “Mindful Moments” Meditation Session Promoting Inner Peace
Chitkara Happiness Centre, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organised a serene and insightful “Mindful Moments” meditation session aimed at fostering inner peace, mindfulness, and a deeper bond with nature. The session was led by Pardeep Kumar Yogi, a seasoned yoga and meditation expert, who guided participants through a meaningful and transformative experience.
The session unfolded with a focus on cultivating gratitude and awareness, beginning with the theme of ‘Giving Love to Mother Earth,’ which encouraged participants to reflect on their connection with nature. Attendees were introduced to various asanas that support meditation and relaxation, along with practical techniques to nurture mindfulness and achieve inner calm.
The session shed light on the emotional and psychological benefits of meditation, including stress reduction, improved self-awareness, enhanced focus, and emotional clarity. Participants embraced these tools and insights with enthusiasm, experiencing a sense of tranquillity and renewed perspective.
The event underscored Chitkara University’s continued commitment to holistic education and student well-being. By integrating mindfulness practices into campus life, the university empowers students to lead more balanced, resilient, and conscious lives. ‘Mindful Moments’ not only offered a pause from the fast-paced routine but also served as a reminder of the power of mindfulness in building a harmonious relationship with oneself and the environment.
