Chitkara Engineering Students Shine at IIT Mandi’s XPECTO 2025 Tech Fest

Students from Chitkara University’s Department of Interdisciplinary Courses in Engineering (DICE) made a mark at XPECTO 2025, the prestigious annual technology festival hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi. Under the academic guidance of Dr. Rajneesh Talwar, the students participated in a series of high-calibre competitions and events that tested their technical capabilities, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

XPECTO 2025 brought together some of the most talented young minds from across the country, with participation from top-tier institutions such as IIT Mandi, Delhi Technological University (DTU), Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Lovely Professional University (LPU), and the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi. Chitkara University’s representation stood tall among them, with students showcasing exceptional competence in events such as Domination, Wall Maze Solver, Sky Quest R-1 & R-2, Samsaya, Dementia, and Frost Hack.

From autonomous drone design to advanced robotic systems and from innovative healthcare applications to software-based coding challenges, the Chitkara team demonstrated a high level of preparedness and professionalism. Their ability to collaborate effectively and apply their classroom learning to practical, competitive scenarios reflected the university’s commitment to experiential learning and industry-ready education.
