Chitkara Design School Joins International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes

Department of Fashion, Chitkara Design School, Chitkara University has joined the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI), a global organisation that brings together leading fashion and design institutions to support academic exchange and collaboration in fashion education.
IFFTI connects member institutions across countries, enabling engagement in areas such as research, curriculum development, and academic dialogue. With this membership, the Department of Fashion becomes part of an international network that operates across diverse cultural and educational contexts within the discipline.
The association is expected to provide opportunities for interaction with global peers, allowing students and faculty to participate in collaborative initiatives and exchanges aligned with current developments in fashion education.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University, said the association connects the department to a wider academic network engaged in examining and sharing practices in fashion education. “Such associations contribute to building perspectives that are informed by both local context and global developments.”
