Chitkara Business School ranks 11th among the ‘Top 15 Universities’ of India for BBA by Times B-school survey

The monsoons are yet to arrive but Chitkara Business School is getting showered with accolades, this time for BBA. Times B-School Survey ranks CBS at 42 among the ‘Top 75 BBA Institutes’ and 40th among ‘Top 50 Private BBA Institutes’. Chitkara University has also been ranked 11th among the ‘Top 15 Universities’ of India for BBA.

The purpose of this research was to recognize and rank Top BBA Institutes in India. The research had three major modules i.e. Desk Research, Factual survey and Perceptual Rating survey followed by scientifically developed analysis and ranking process used for the survey.

A widespread five-week of fieldwork was conducted in order to reach the result, which is in itself a commendable feat for Chitkara University.

An all-inclusive list of BBA Institutes was generated.

A discussion with industry experts to add/ delete any college in order to achieve a comprehensive list was carried out.

This also made possible the chances of every BBA college getting covered in the survey if their name was mentioned by the respondents. More than 800 BBA Institutes were sent the factual data questionnaire that focused on the following information areas:

General information of the college: Establishment, College type, Affiliation etc.
Courses offered & number of seats
Infrastructure
Faculty
Industry interface
Placement
Potential to network
Exchange programs & Global exposure
Research Orientation & focus
Alumni chapter

Based on the response, a factual and perceptual score was prepared in which Chitkara Business School came out with flying colours.
