CCN organized various activities for students to celebrate Nurses Week
Chitkara College of Nursing (CCN) celebrated Nurses’ week from 9th May-14th May 2016. SNA organized various activities throughout the week. Week started with the 3rd Oath taking and Lamp Lightening ceremony of Batch 2015-19. Mrs. Surjit Kaur, Registrar, PNRC was Chief guest and Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice –Chancellor, Chitkara University also graced the occasion. An Expert lecture was delivered by Dr. Meghna from Neo Skin and laser Clinic. Poster making competition on the theme “healthy Skin” was also organized. Afterwards fun activities were organized for the students.
Sports day was organized in which number of fun games & sports activities were conducted. 12th May is celebrated as an International Nurses’ day across the globe to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lady with the lamp, ‘Ms. Florence Nightingale’. On this occasion cake cutting ceremony was held and clay modelling competition on Anatomy & Physiology of various body systems was organized.
On 13th May.2016, Cultural Day Jashan-E-Mehfil was celebrated and Radio Talk on Scope of Nursing was aired on Chitkara radio FM 107.8FM on 14th May, 2016.
