CBS Students explore the orator in them at Debating Debacle

Our budding managers expressed their debating best at the ‘Debating Debacle’ conducted by Chitkara University Toastmasters for students of Chitkara Business School.

BBA Debaters gathered to battle thoughts in the Parliamentary debate. The Parliamentary debate is designed to bring students from across the semesters together, to debate the contentious issues that dominate the international climate. The young management aspirants debated on issues like Euthanasia, Advertisements are a waste of resources and the social network. Toastmaster Parul hosted the event. The first prize was awarded to Anumeha. Vibhor bagged the second prize and Nishkarsh walked away with the third prize for his excellent rebuttal.

The toastmasters club aims to give a chance to the students to evolve as public speakers and nurture rational thinking. Since its inception, the club has helped students counter stage fear and eventually get over it.
