Cancer awareness campaign by Fortis in association with Chitkara University

Chitkara School of Health Sciences are running certain courses in collaboration with Fortis, Mohali. This tie-up has led us to announce a noble step taken by Fortis Hospital, Mohali. Seeing the spread of cancer, Fortis is holding a special Campaign for spreading awareness about Cancer in women for which they have special package for the month of February.

Cervical and breast cancers are the most commonly diagnosed cancers in women these days. Checking for the possibility of cancer in people who have no symptoms of the disease at all is called screening and Fortis is holding a free screening for women. The screening will include PAP smear test, mammography and consultation with a gynecologist. Registration fee for this will be Rs 250 and it will be valid till February 28. Conditions apply.

Knowing that cervical and breast cancers exist is not enough. They need to be diagnosed and if diagnosed then treated in time. Chitkara University is glad to announce this Fortis initiative for women and hopes that many will be benefited through this.
