It was cake time for hospitality students

Cakes can make you smile, they can also make you weep, they can tickle your taste buds and give you a mouthful of happiness but making them with perfection needs a lot of intricacy and perfection. A cake decoration workshop was organized at Chitkara School of Hospitality on September 5, 2014, in collaboration with Troplolite foods (Devars).

A lot was offered to our students here in terms of culinary enhancement and application. Students from Kitchen and bakery clubs participated in this workshop.

Culinary Chef Suraj Ahlawat and Executive Chef Uttam Kumar demonstrated the art of icing and cake decoration to our students. The chefs not only gave a practical demonstration to the students, they also had a talk on cake decoration and its insights. Overall, the event was very useful for our students.
