Barry John’s associate Brian Herwood at Chitkara Media School

Brian Herwood, a well-known director and actor and an associate of Barry John was at the Chitkara Media School.

Niyati Chitkara, Principal, Chitkara International School, had accompanied Mr Herwood to the Punjab Campus.

The representatives of Barry John Acting Studio, BJAS, and Chitkara International School are exploring the possibilities of initiating theatre and film acting courses for University students and others.

He visited Radio Chitkara 107.8 FM where he interacted with the students through the radio. Another renowned personality of the industry Sanjay Sujitabh was also with them. He has devoted several years to teaching acting and has a vast experience in studio designing.

Media School’s initiatives were appreciated by both Mr Herwood and Mr Sujitabh. They were pleased to see Media School’s curriculum, pedagogy and were impressed by the infrastructure, facilities and hands-on exposure at the School.

They visited radio labs, production control room, TV studio and video editing lab and gave inputs to involve students in new ways. All the delegates of the team took part in the radio discussion.

It is worth mentioning that the King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan has been trained by Barry John when he was struggling in Delhi to reach the tinsel town and eventually became the BADSHAH of Bollywood.
