Android workshop carried out successfully in Chitkara University, Punjab

Android is one of the most popular software ecosystems ever created. The basic concept of this is imparting knowledge. With the spirit of the ideals that guide Google, an Android Development workshop was organised at Chitkara University, Punjab, in which selected students from both the campuses of Chitkara University enthusiastically participated.

The force behind the workshop was the Google Students Club, Chitkara University, under the aegis of Google Developers Group, Chandigarh.

A team of two developers from BLRDroid, Bengaluru, came to the Punjab campus for giving a seminar, conducted the workshop on Android development, where the students were taught the basics of the Android Operating System, along with a hands-on session in which the fundamentals of Android application development were taught.

Around 150 selected students attended the maiden Google joint venture between both the Chitkara University campuses, which was a resounding success.
